  • To ensure the preservation and availability of all components, Vestas follows a structured preventive maintenance protocol, while an external certifier company performs periodic inspections to certify the condition of the assets on behalf of EDPR.
  • The material is duly stored at port.
  • All available documentation: complete inventory, status reports, technical documentation, etc.

AUXILIAR EQUIPMENT (BoP MATERIAL) ON SALE

In addition to wind turbines, all auxiliary materials for the assembly of the wind farm are sold by online auction.Online auctions will be held during the months of April and May with a very streamlined sales process.

WIND TURBINES PURCHASING PROCESS

Receipt of applications

Potential buyers will express their interest and sign a confidentiality agreement, after which they will receive general information about the assets and a basic eligibility questionnaire to complete.

2: Qualification and submission of bids

Buyers will submit the questionnaire and EDPR will review and qualify bidders based on their solvency and experience. Approved applicants will be able to visit the assets and access detailed technical information in order to submit an initial offer together with a guarantee (to ensure a serious participation). Initial negotiations with the property will begin.

Interested parties may submit offers for:

  • The entire batch of 90 wind turbines.
  • Individual wind turbines (1, 2, 20 or any other quantity).
  • Specific components, such as blades, nacelles or power trains.

Deadline for receipt of bids: August 23

3: Final Online Auction

The selected bids will have access to a data room (with legal, tax and contractual information) and will participate in an online auction structured through the Escrapalia platform, where they will be able to bid for complete lots or individual components, after which the winning bids will be decided.

Expected Final online auction date: 30th September

4: Submission of the binding offer, negotiation and signing of the contract

The winning bidders must present a guarantee of a binding offer, the terms of the contract and payment terms will be negotiated and the sale will be formalised by signing the contract.
